Transfer of title to CMHC/GE Capital

  • Within 5 days following the expiry of the 90 days inscription for sale, production of the claim.
  • Within 10 days folowing the payment by CMHC/GE Capital, make the appointment to remit keys to CMHC/GE Capital.
  • Within 90 days of the reception of payment, production of the supplementary claim.

Sale with a residuary deficit

  • Within 5 days following the signature of the deed of sale, production of the claim.
  • Within 90 days from the reception of the payment, production of the supplementary claim.

As CMHC/GE Capital give more latitude for this type of property concerning the price and repairs necessary to promote the sale, we make sure to have a file as detailed as possible including recommendations and explanations as per why the property is not sold at the end of the listing or why it was sold at this particular price. We are prepared to answer CMHC/GE Capital questions at any time.

Transfer of title to CMHC/GE Capital

  • Within 5 days following the expiry of the 90 days inscription for sale, we schedule the final inspection with CMHC/GE Capital.
  • Meet with CMHC/GE Capital within 30 days.
  • Within 5 days of the final inspection, production of the claim and notification to the notary to activate the process of title transfer.
  • Within 120 days from the reception of the payment, production of the supplementary claim.

Sale with a residuary deficit

  • Within 5 days following the deed of sale signature , production of the claim.
  • Within 120 days from the reception of payment, production of the supplementary claim.
